We use high-speed irrigation systems with drop nozzles - this allows for faster water application and less evapotranspiration. We also utilize variable rate irrigation, which allows us to apply different water amounts to different soil types throughout the field and reduces overall water usage.

Advanced GPS Systems in farm machinery maximizes land use by planting straight rows, only applying fertilizer and seed where necessary and harvesting those exact rows to reduce on defects and waste.

Modern, fuel efficient machinery allows for higher safety levels, less fuel consumption, less emissions and more reliability. It is crucial to get the crops in and out of the fields on time and our machinery reduces down-time.

Remotely monitored irrigation systems allow for closer observation and more control over water usage. We have paired our remote-control capabilities with remote data gathering. We get instantaneous rainfall information from each irrigation system in real-time so we can turn on and off irrigation systems when needed.

Cover crops are planted right after harvest to reduce wind erosion, add nutrients to the soil, produce cover and food for animals, and add organic matter to the soil.

Our data center and analysists look at mountains of data to help make the best decisions possible based on weather, crop health, nutrient status, and pest pressures. We also utilize data models to grow the right crops on the proper fields and put spuds in the right storages.

We monitor our passenger vehicles, heavy truck fleet, and tractors to monitor fuel usage and idle times which allows us continuous improvement and benchmarking.
