Seasonal Harvest Positions available:
Truck Driver – The truck driver’s purpose is to transport farm produce and/or equipment to a variety of locations on and off the farm. The truck driver is responsible for not only driving of the vehicle, but also daily vehicle inspections, routine maintenance items and any and all paperwork.
Potato Sorters – The potato sorter, or potato line grader, will be responsible for working at a conveyor line ensuring that potatoes are graded to carious standards and sorted. These duties include sorting of green and rotten potatoes as well as other waste.
Quality Assurance Positions – The quality control personnel will be responsible for assisting with the harvest quality assurance program. These duties include measuring varying metrics of quality for potato storage and production.
Truck Spotters – The truck spotter will be responsible for ensuring trucks coming into the facility are emptied. These duties include working in close proximity to equipment and people, directing bulk trucks using hand signals into the proper alignment for the safe unloading of the truck and ensuring that the truck exits the unloading area in a safe manner.
Truck Unloader – The truck unloader will be responsible for ensuring trucks coming into the facility are emptied. These duties include working with drivers to ensure trucks are backed up to unloader and unloaded.
General Laborers – The general labor position will be responsible for general labor in shipping operations and on the red lines. This includes general plant work, cleaning and movement of product. The general labor position also participates in the Food Safety Program.
